The last couple days, we have camped on a few beaches and visited local markets to stock up on coconuts, tropical fruits and veggies.
We've been snorkeling off Anini Beach, classified as Kauai's best snorkeling. Unfortunately, of what we saw, 95% was bleached but there are still lots of marine life. Julie ran into man-eating octupus, as we snorkled about. Luckily she's a beautiful lady, because it was gigantic. We also saw a sea turtle feeding just off shore from our tent. This is a truly a beautiful spot, and a local hang-out for islanders. We are off to see tropical sea birds in the Kileau Wildlife Refuge. The birds are heading back to their roost after a long day of feeding, so we gotta run!
